Why don't you wait til Anet confirm the release date and other information first? Before rushing into anything.

Also, there's no point in pre-ordering unless a store is advertising a pre-order bonus pack (assuming there is one) or offering a *really* low price.

Even then, you can usually pick and choose the best offer a week before release and still have what you want arrive on the day the game goes live.

Haha geez, this guy was just asking if there was going to be one or not. Don't need to bite his head off so quickly.

No one knows, yet, Zwei.

I don't think anyone is trying to be mean, but it's worth letting people know that pre-ordering too soon isn't a good idea. One of the first companies to offer advance orders in the UK is usually Play, but (reliable though they are) they've never supplied the pre-order pack, as far as I am aware - so it's good to advise people not to rush, thinking they'll benefit by doing so, when they could actually lose out by not picking the right offer/package, when the situation is clearer.

Well, while I agree that it's best to wait closer to the date to pre-order anything, there's still nothing wrong with Zwei asking if there's mention of a CE yet.

The trouble is, they won't announce "there will be no CE" on the website... you'd have to infer it from them posting the regular product details. Though maybe you'd get Gaile to answer that when we are at that point.

I've never seen a collector's edition for an expansion, so I rather doubt it.

Somehow I remember Gaile making some comment to the CE along the lines of they were still deciding on it...but this was at least a month back; I have no idea where and maybe I'm full of it...
However, I'd say highly likely because A) The other campaigns have CEs and B) CEs cost more so more profit for company with little production cost to make.
Bet on it, just don't preorder until we get a release date.

Despite all the campaigns having one, remember- this is the first expansion so that argument may not hold up. But I still think there will most likely be a CE.

How else do you think they'll manage to get a high in-game price going for the mini-pet they are planning to include with the Gw:EN update aka. "Burning Gwen"?

^Sarcasm for the weak-minded.

Don't get excited at a seemingly "bargain" price. As this is an expansion, ANet has said that it will be priced less than a campaign.

You can check the Gaile News on http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page for what she has said about GW:EN.
